Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmed Mosque)

Just across the square from the Hagia Sophia stands the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, more commonly known as the Blue Mosque. Its moniker originates from the mesmerizing Iznik tiles adorning its exterior, their cerulean hues shimmering in the sunlight. This iconic landmark, commissioned by Sultan Ahmed I in the early 17th century, is a prime example of classical Ottoman architecture.

Six minarets pierce the sky, symbolizing the sultan’s status as the sixth Ottoman ruler to hold the title of Caliph. The exquisite interior, featuring intricate floral patterns and stained glass windows, further underscores the artistry and opulence of the Ottoman era. The Blue Mosque remains an active mosque, serving as a spiritual haven for locals and a breathtaking spectacle for visitors.

The Galata Tower offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Istanbul, making it a must-visit for any traveler. However, to truly enjoy the experience, it’s crucial to consider the best time to visit Galata tower, taking into account factors like weather, crowd levels, and personal preferences.

Weather

Istanbul enjoys a pleasant Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and mild, wet winters. Here’s a breakdown of how weather can influence your visit:

Spring (April-May) and Autumn (September-October): These shoulder seasons offer comfortable temperatures, making them ideal for exploring the city, including the Galata Tower.

Summer (June-August): While the weather is warm and sunny, it can also get crowded, especially during peak tourist season. Be prepared for hot temperatures and potentially longer queues.

Winter (November-March): The weather can be unpredictable, with occasional rain and colder temperatures. While there might be fewer crowds, some days might not be suitable for enjoying outdoor viewpoints. Don’t miss out our top-rated Istanbul tour!

Crowd Levels

The Galata Tower is a popular tourist attraction, so expect crowds, especially during peak season (summer months) and public holidays. Here are some tips to avoid the biggest crowds, finding the best time to visit Galata tower:

Visit early in the morning (around opening time) or later in the evening (closer to closing time).

Consider weekdays over weekends, as weekends tend to be busier.

Purchase your tickets online in advance to skip the queue at the ticket counter.

Duration of the Cruise

Bosphorus boat tours vary in duration, ranging from short excursions of a few hours to full-day cruises. Decide how much time you’d like to spend on the water and choose a tour that aligns with your schedule and preferences. Shorter cruises are ideal for those with limited time, while longer tours provide a more comprehensive exploration of the Bosphorus.

Type of Cruise

Bosphorus boat tours come in various types, catering to different interests and preferences. Some tours focus on sightseeing, offering informative commentary about the landmarks and attractions along the Bosphorus. Others may include additional experiences such as dinner cruises, sunset cruises, or private charters. Consider what type of experience you’re looking for and choose a tour that matches your interests.

Onboard Amenities

Take into account the amenities offered onboard the cruise ship, as they can greatly enhance your comfort and enjoyment during the tour. Look for tours that provide comfortable seating, panoramic views, and onboard facilities such as restrooms and refreshments. Some tours may also offer complimentary Wi-Fi, audio guides, or live entertainment to enhance the experience.

Tour Operator Reputation

Research the reputation and reviews of the tour operator before booking your Bosphorus boat tour. Choose a reputable and experienced operator with a track record of providing high-quality tours and excellent customer service. Reading reviews from previous customers can give you valuable insights into the tour experience and help you make an informed decision.

Bosphorus Cruise Tips

The Enchanting Sunset

Elevate your experience by embarking on your Bosphorus cruise between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM, allowing you to witness the breathtaking spectacle of the sun setting over iconic landmarks such as the Hagia Sophia, Süleymaniye Mosque, and Topkapi Palace, painting the Istanbul skyline in fiery hues of orange, red, and purple.

The City’s Essence

Ensure you have a camera with a zoom lens to capture the intricate details of the Dolmabahçe Palace, Rumeli Fortress, and Ortaköy Mosque as you glide past them on the water. These photographs will serve as cherished mementos of your unique perspective on Istanbul.

Culinary Delights

For an indulgent experience, select a cruise with onboard dining options featuring traditional Turkish dishes like İskender kebab, gözleme, and baklava. Enjoying these culinary delights while taking in breathtaking panoramic views of the Bosphorus Bridge and the maiden’s tower (Kız Kulesi) will create a truly unforgettable memory.

Comfort and Protection

For daytime cruises, prioritize comfort by wearing breathable, loose-fitting clothing in natural fabrics like cotton or linen. Additionally, shield yourself from the sun with SPF 30 or higher sunscreen and a wide-brimmed hat to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable journey.

Tailor Your Experience

Consider opting for a private or semi-private cruise with a maximum capacity of 10-15 passengers. This allows you to tailor the itinerary to your preferences, potentially including stops at hidden coves for swimming or exploring the vibrant Spice Bazaar on the Eminönü side.

Best Time for Bosphorus Tour

The Bosphorus Strait is a stunning waterway that separates Europe and Asia, offering a unique perspective of Istanbul’s historical landmarks and vibrant culture. Choosing the best time for your Bosphorus cruise depends on your preferences and what you want to get out of the experience – it’s among the practical Bosphorus cruise tips to exercise. Here’s a breakdown of the factors to consider:

Season

Spring (April-May) and Autumn (September-October): These shoulder seasons offer pleasant weather, with comfortable temperatures, fewer crowds, and beautiful scenery.

Summer (June-August): This is the peak tourist season, offering the warmest weather and the longest daylight hours, ideal for longer cruises. However, it can also be crowded and hot.

Winter (November-March): The weather can be unpredictable, with rain and cold temperatures. However, there are fewer crowds and some tours offer unique winter experiences, like hot mulled wine on board.

Time of Day

Morning (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Enjoy a serene atmosphere with fewer crowds and capture the city awakening in the soft morning light.

Afternoon (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM): Good option for combination tours that include lunch or other activities.

Sunset (4:30 PM – 6:30 PM): Witness the magical spectacle of the sun setting over the city, painting the sky and landmarks in vibrant hues. This is widely considered the most enchanting time for a Bosphorus cruise.

Additional Factors

Daylight hours: If you want a longer cruise with more time to sightsee, choose a time with longer daylight hours, especially during the winter months.

Weather conditions: Check the weather forecast before booking your cruise, especially if you are prone to seasickness or prefer comfortable temperatures.

Type of cruise: Different cruises offer varying durations and itineraries. Some include meals, entertainment, or stops at specific landmarks. Choose one that aligns with your interests and preferences.

A Bosphorus cruise offers an unforgettable journey through Istanbul’s history and beauty, providing panoramic views of its iconic landmarks from a unique perspective. Whether you choose a leisurely daytime cruise or a romantic sunset voyage, following these Bosphorus cruise tips will ensure a memorable experience exploring the jewel of Turkey’s landscape.

According to a tourist sector representative on Tuesday, Turkey midterm reservation has increased by almost 15% over the previous year due to the country’s growing popularity for thermal and ski resorts.

Mehmet Işler, the deputy chairperson of the Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TÜROFED), emphasized that the midterm break, which follows the New Year holidays, caused a tourism surge inside the country and that the facilities undertook required preparations during this period.

In an interview with Anadolu Agency (AA), Işler stated that nearly every tourist attraction had a full schedule for the New Year, indicating a successful conclusion for 2023. Işler reiterated the 15% increase in bookings.

“During this time, ski resorts and thermal facilities get the most attention. Our break for the semester is going great already. Our most valuable assets during the midterm break are the kids. We give the kids access to dedicated study spaces, games, music, and group entertainment possibilities.”

In addition, he emphasized the remarkable volume of bookings on the part of Turkey midterm reservation, particularly in the thermal facilities and ski resorts of Uludağ and Palandöken. Işler stated,

“In particular, reservations are still being accepted for the upcoming midterm break in various destinations, including the Sapanca region near Istanbul, Uludağ in Bursa, thermal facilities in Denizli and Afyonkarahisar, as well as coastal facilities in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions.”

It’d be a better notion of have a glance at Fethiiye location before we dive into “what is Fethiye famous for.” A thriving port city on Turkey’s southwest coast is called Fethiye – the best of Turkey. I had assumed we would be going to a tiny beach town, but Fethiye is home to more than 160,000 people.

Most of the images that appear when you search for “Fethiye Turkey” on Google Images are of the neighboring town of Oludeniz and its beaches. Just be aware that Fethiye is a bustling small metropolis rather than a sleepy quiet beach village.

What is Fethiye Famous For?

Fethiye’s beaches and turquoise water are the main draws for tourists. Once more, though, a good number of the beaches you may be daydreaming of are probably around Oludeniz. Additionally, Fethiye’s primary attractions are rather commercial, much like Oludeniz, so don’t plan an off-the-beaten-path holiday here.

4 Day 3 Night Blue Cruise Turkey Tours Fethiye to Olympos

How to Get to Fethiye?

The closest airport to Fethiye is Dalaman Airport. After arriving at the airport, you may easily get a bus to Fethiye by strolling outside. We’ve heard that busses organize their journeys to Fethiye according to the arrival airline schedules.

It takes about 45 minutes to travel 45 kilometers from Dalaman Airport to Fethiye. Fethiye may also be reached from the airports at Antalya and Bodrum. About 200 kilometers separate both from Fethiye.

Turkey is a contemporary nation with a thriving culture, lively cities, and vivacious people. Furthermore, Turkey’s natural beauty is truly amazing, encompassing everything from its rough mountains and picturesque countryside to its gorgeous coastline and sandy beaches.

The museum received the portrait head of Alexander that was discovered during the excavation. For the past four years, professional archaeologists have been excavating the Konuralp Ancient City in Düzce. While most of the old theater was discovered throughout the course of the excavations, other historical artifacts, like the heads of Medusa and Apollo, were discovered during the excavations conducted in the top section.

During the excavations at the Konuralp Ancient Theater excavation area, researchers discovered a portrait head under the soil in the top section of the ancient theater area. This led to a thorough rescue excavation.

The portrait head was identified as belonging to King Alexander the Great of Macedonia after it was examined by historians and the Department of Excavations and Research after it was removed from the excavation site. It was established that the 23-centimeter-long relic dates to the second century AD, during the Roman era. The artifact from history was delivered to Konuralp Museum.

Pirate Ships in Bodrum grab the hearts of travelers pirate cruise ships are becoming more and more common in Bodrum ports, providing tourists with tours of the picturesque Aegean coast and islands. In recent years, the phenomenon of pirate ships has started to expand along the Turkish coast of Mugla, instilling a sense of adventure in visitors throughout their visits.

Tourist numbers rose, and Bodrum Mayor Mehmet Kocadon praised the high and continuing turnout of tourists from Britain, Germany, Poland and Russia, saying:

“We hope that occupancy at the peak of the season will reach 100%.”

Both domestic and international travelers are eager to take daily cruises aboard ships, especially pirate ships. Owner of a pirate cruise ship, Anver Kartermis, expressed hope for a successful tourist season. “The majority of tourists were from Russia,” he stated. The Russians adore Bodrum, so we plan a trip that takes them from the land’s sulfurous waters to the beaches of Boyraz, Kizilburun, and Dalgic. He added,

“We offer moonlit night cruises, which are popular with visitors from Bulgaria, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine. The pirate ship model has started to catch on in the area, all reservations are full, and many have been impressed by our ship’s unique design. We think we have started to disseminate this concept.”

Bosphorus dinner cruise

The pirate ship employs 24 people who traverse four different coasts of Mugla during the day.

“We believe that tourists find it more comfortable to spend their tours onboard the pirate ship, given its large size compared to other small cruise ships.”

Together with Marmaris, Fethiye, Datca, Dalyan, and Akyaka, Bodrum is among the most well-liked tourist destinations, particularly in conjunction with pirate ships in Bodrum, in Mugla because of the city’s beautiful beaches, abundant natural resources, and well-developed hotel and tourism infrastructure.

Altınkum is situated on the boundaries of the province of Aydın’s Didim district. The astonishingly beautiful beach and Apollan temple, with its olive and sea dominating every shade of blue, are situated near the white tree known as the altinkum, which is wrapped in a silk corpse.

Travelers from all over the world have stepped in to help, drawn by the blue-flagged Paradise Beach Altinkum, which serves as a tourist attraction. The locals are trying to figure out how to buy a cottage. The current texture of Altınkum was created by the owners of the vacation house retiring and settling here after that. It was shortly after this that Altinkum saw an upsurge in tourism, which was first noticed when big tour companies started drawing travelers.

As Altınkum confidently moves forward to become a brand on the holiday, it joyfully celebrates this accomplishment with its distinctive, unforgettable holidays and the joy of traveling.

The longest stream canyon in Turkey, Çamaş Canyon, is getting ready to become a hub for health, wellness, and water therapy tourism as well as outdoor activities. Mahmut Ayparça, the mayor of Çamaş, stated that the canyon is a Guinness World Record contender.

Open to tourists is the 25-kilometer portion of the 4-kilometer-long canyon in Ordu’s Çamaş district.

Çamaş Canyon, Turkey’s longest stream canyon, is preparing to become a center for outdoor recreation, health, wellness, and water therapy tourism. Çamaş’s mayor, Mahmut Ayparça, claimed the canyon is a potential Guinness World Record candidate.

The 25-kilometer stretch of the 4-kilometer-long canyon in the Çamaş district of Ordu is accessible to tourists.

There are multiple canyons in the district, according to Çamaş Mayor Mahmut Aytaşı.

“On these canyons are lakes and waterfalls. Our district of Çamaş has the longest canyons in Turkey. We established our project, “Natural Health Tourism in the Canyon,” after working on these canyons and making them tourist-friendly. With the help of this initiative, we will be able to provide activities such as various sports and sound and water therapy to our visitors to our canyons, helping them recover their physical and mental well-being.”

Mayor Aytaşı declared that Çamaş Canyon, the longest stream canyon in Turkey, is a contender for the Guinness World Record.

‘Çamaş, the Land of Mysterious Canyons’ is the name we gave our project, and it is full of mysteries. First of all, the trail is great for hiking and has lots of waterfalls, making us a contender for the Guinness World Record. In addition, our canyon is home to indigenous flora, wild animals, raptors, and other species of wildlife, making us a potential Guinness World Record contender.

There are three more kilometers of paths, so we will add them to the hiking track. Right now, we may use 1.5 kilometers of the canyon. We have about 20 kilometers of canyon ahead of us. Our Çamaş Canyon is 25 kilometers long overall. Once more, there are numerous canyons of varying lengths.”

3 Days Turkey Tour – Cappadocia Konya Tour

When Azmi Es arrived to inspect the canyon, she commented,

“These are remarkable settings. incredibly stunning and pleased. Here, you must enter the water and make use of the tracks. It greatly calms you, so I’m already quite happy.”

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced in a written statement that ticket sales for the Touristic Eastern Express expeditions were still ongoing and that the inaugural journey of the train would take place on December 11.

On December 11, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, will launch the train from Ankara to Kars.

3 Days Turkey Tour – Cappadocia Konya Tour

It was also noted in the statement that certain travel agencies are attempting to sell tickets for the “Eastern Express” as the “Touristic Eastern Express,” despite not having the legal right to do so.

“When making travel plans on the Ankara and Kars line, citizens should be aware of the distinctions between the Eastern Express and the Touristic Eastern Express trains. The 53-kilometer Ankara and Kars route is home to the Eastern Express, a line of pullman and couchette wagons that does daily reciprocal trips and stops at 1300 stations. One month in advance, each ticket for this train is available for individual purchase.

No travel agency is permitted to offer tourist rail tours for this train. The Touristic Eastern Express is a specially designed train for tourism that departs from Ankara on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and arrives in Kars on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. It stops for about three hours in Erzincan and Erzurum on the way to Ankara and Kars, and in İliç, Divriği, and Sivas on the way to Kars and Ankara.

A month in advance, TCDD Taşımacılık A\ offered to sell tickets for about 35% of the touristy Eastern Express train, while travel companies approved by the Association of Turkish Travel companies (TÜRSAB) were granted lot rights for the remaining wagons.”

It was announced that tickets bought through individual sales channels of the organizations who act to mislead the public will be annulled, and TÜRSAB will be notified of these organizations.

I stepped onto the warm, golden sands of Paradise Beach Altinkum, feeling an instant sense of tranquility wash over me. The crystal-clear turquoise waters stretched out before my eyes, inviting me to plunge in and embrace the refreshing embrace of the Aegean Sea. As I made my way towards the shoreline, the soft caress of the gentle breeze whispered through the palm trees, creating a soothing melody. With each step, I could feel the worries and stresses of everyday life melt away, replaced by a deep sense of serenity. I settled down on a comfortable beach chair, basking in the glorious sunshine and taking in the picturesque view of the surrounding cliffs.

The sound of laughter and joyful chatter filled the air, as families and friends relished in the simple joys of building sandcastles and playing beach volleyball. It was in this moment, surrounded by the natural beauty and infectious energy of Paradise Beach, that I truly understood why it earned its name. It was a paradise in every sense of the word, a place where worries were left behind and cherished memories were made.

Altinkum is a lively vacation destination where the Aegean Sea meets a lovely beach. There are hotels, summer homes, entertainment venues, and restaurants in this gorgeous vacation destination, which is busier in the summer.

On the edges of the Didim district in the province of Aydn is Altnkum. Altinkum is a white tree with a silk carcass covering it, and there are Apollan temple and a beach close by with olive and sea dominating all shades of blue.

6 Days Turkey Tour – Best Turkey Tour Package

Tourists from all over the world have stepped in to the rescue thanks to the blue-flagged Altinkum beach, which serves as a tourist destination. The locals are trying to find ways to buy cottages. After then, the owners of the vacation home retired and settled in Altnkum, resulting in the texture of today. Following this time, huge tour operators started to draw travellers, which led to the discovery of the Altinkum tourism explosion.

How to Get to Paradise Beach Altinkum

To reach Paradise Beach Altinkum, you have several options. If you’re arriving by air, Bodrum Airport is the nearest airport. From there, you can take a taxi or arrange for a transfer to Altinkum, which typically takes about an hour. If you’re already in Altinkum or nearby, you can use dolmuşes (shared minibusses) that travel to Altinkum Beach. Just let the driver know you’re heading to Paradise Beach, and they’ll drop you off nearby. If you’re driving, Altinkum is accessible via the D525 and D550 highways, and there is parking available near the beach. With various transportation options, getting to Paradise Beach Altinkum is convenient and hassle-free.

Turkey is best visited in the spring or autumn. Turkey has beautiful weather between March and May, as well as between September and November, when the summertime crowds have dispersed. Hotel costs will be moderate during these off-peak times, and airfare will be less expensive. Let’s know about the best time to visit Turkey outdoor activities.

The ideal months to explore Turkey’s extensive collection of historic ruins are often April, May, and September because these months are comfortably warm with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 30°C. June through August are the sweltering summer months, with temperatures on the south coast reaching the mid-thirties.

Istanbul

The summer heat in Istanbul lasts all year long, from mid-June to mid-October. Istanbul experiences the warmest weather in July and August, when the temperature can reach 35 degrees celsius. The summer is also the least busy season in Istanbul. Most Istanbul citizens opt to spend their vacations either in their hometowns or one of Turkey’s many resort cities. It is quite easy to move around the city, enjoy the Bosphorus, Black Sea, or Marmara shorelines, and get some fresh air away from the heat of the city because the population of the city has decreased and the quantity of traffic has decreased.

7 Days Blue Cruise Turkey Tour

Antalya

The Turkish Riviera extends over 630 kilometres along the coast of Antalya. Since there are 300 days of sunshine a year in Antalya, it is a great area to visit the beach. The water offers a lot more things just swimming and tanning, too. Those who enjoy various water sports frequently travel to the Antalya region.

5 Days Turkey Tour – Istanbul Antalya Tour

Fethiye

As we dig deeper to know about the best time to visit Turkey for outdoor activities, we get to know that Fethiye is fortunate to have a sizable, magnificent natural harbour. As a result, it is home to a large number of fishing boats, yachts, and day trip boats. Although the 12 Island Boat Tours offer incredible value for the money, the costs vary seasonally but are usually quite affordable.

You don’t have any skiing experience, but if you feel like you should start someplace, you’re at the perfect place. For some reason, a winter or skiing trip is not as accessible to the general public as a summer vacation. Imagine yourself swimming during the summer holidays, skiing or snowboarding during the ski holidays, lying by the fireplace during the ski holidays, and sunbathing during the summer holidays.

One of the best countries for ski vacations is Turkey. There are numerous locations where you may ski and assess your winter vacation. In terms of applications, Uludag ski center’s Alpine and North disciplines with “tour skiing” and “helicopter skiing” have suitable geographic conditions. Along with skiing, other activities include snowboarding, Bigfoot, ice skating, and snowmobile. There are 24 tracks at Uludag Ski Centre, which appeals to both novice and expert skiers. The Kartalkaya Ski Centre in Bolu is an additional choice.

Skiers can choose from 21 slopes at various levels of difficulty in the Kartalkaya ski resort. The Erciyes Ski Centre has 32 different track options that vary in complexity and is located on Turkey’s highest mountain. 55 kilometres and 2.634 metres separate you from the centre of Kars. Sarikamis Ski Centre is the only ski resort in the world with the special Alpine mountains “Crystal Snow” attribute. There are 22 pistes at the Palandoken Ski Centre, and the FIS has designated two of these as Olympic pistes. There are numerous other ski resorts like this one.

4 Day 3 Night Blue Cruise Turkey Tours Fethiye to Olympos

Skiing vacations are a must-have for everyone looking to turn their winter cold into pleasure, no matter the season. Skiers who want to escape the stress of daily life can enjoy the vitality of a cold, snowy holiday and the connection to nature. During a ski vacation, you can choose to stay at a ski hotel near the greatest slopes or travel. There are several possibilities for this holiday in Europe as well, but don’t neglect Turkey when making your selection. Turkey is the best option in this regard for a skiing vacation because it is both affordable and enjoyable.

The archaeology exhibit is one of the more fascinating features of the larger Archaeological Museum of Hierapolis. The museum, which is housed within the Central Roman Baths’ restored ruins, provides a variety of artefacts discovered on the property and in the neighbourhood. Just before you get to the Antique Pool and across from the travertine ponds with white cliffs is where you’ll find the museum.

In the Ancient City of Hierapolis, on a 14,000 m2 plot of land, is the Archaeological Museum of Hierapolis. It is a group of buildings that includes a library, a gym, and an ancient Roman bath. The Hierapolis Southern Bath (Great Bath Building) was built between the eras of Hadrian (117–138 A.D.) and Severius. It is situated in the southwest of the city, near the entrance to the travertine waterways. (2nd century A.D) The sediments accumulated by the water creating Pamukkale’s white travertines raised the floor of the Roman Bath by 5 metres after the old city was abandoned.

The Hierapolis Archeology Museum was inaugurated on February 1, 1984, as a result of the restoration work done on the Roman Bath Structure at the Hierapolis Archaeological Site in the 1970s. It houses artefacts recovered from the Hierapolis Excavations and brought from other ruins.

The Legend of Marsyas

According to legend, Marsyas has the audacity to compete in a musical competition against God Apollo. Apollo won the competition by producing the finest music, beating Marsyas. Marsyas’ flesh will be flayed as punishment for his audacity in competing in a music competition with God Apollo. For this task, a Scythian is at your disposal.

Hall of Sarcophagi and Statues

The majority of the items were taken from our other ruins and are artefacts from the excavations at Hierapolis and Laodikeia. The artefacts are described as the most exquisite artistic examples of the Roman Period. They include reliefs of gladiator fights and bull fights that our directorate discovered during excavations in Tripolis Street of the Ancient City of Hierapolis and sarcophagi that were discovered during the rescue excavations in the Ancient City of Laodikeia.

The Uzungol village Turkey has a unique environment. Hills covered in thick trees, clouds encircling wooden cottages, a natural lake, and a warm summer environment are all part of Uzungöl village’s unique nature. The villagers are quite straightforward and friendly, and it’s a pleasure to talk with them. Uzungol village Turkey is the ideal spot for a few days away from the rush, smoke, and traffic, or for hiking in the forests and climbing mountains.

However, due to its popularity, this community has recently become a tourist destination with numerous hotels and restaurants. Many hotels in the area of the lake have nice rooms with nice views and serve breakfast and lunch.

The Inan Kardeşler Hotel, which has wooden rooms with balconies overlooking the lake and valley and is also considered the greatest site for a pleasant holiday in Uzungol, is one of the best hotels.

Uzungol village Turkey has a chilly climate, therefore bring warm clothing when visiting, and travel during the summer to see more nature and scenery. The temperature is chilly even in summer due to the altitude of the village and the lake, and there is some rain.

4 Days Trabzon Tour From Istanbul

Best Time to Visit Uzungol Village

Snow-capped peaks in the winter, lush spring and summer landscapes, and exquisite autumn colors are not to be underestimated. The settlement of Uzungöl is known to be a rainy place in general. If you visit this place in the summer, you will witness less rain than if you visit in the winter. Also, if you prefer chilly temps while traveling, visit this location in the summer or spring.

As previously stated, you will be entering a rainy area, so bring a raincoat, warm clothing, and some additional clothing. Bring the necessary equipment and supplies, such as shoes and appropriate clothing, if you wish to go trekking or mountain climbing in Uzungöl village.

There are numerous seaside cities in northern Turkey that we are unfamiliar with, but simply looking at photographs of their beautiful nature will make you want to visit these destinations of your dreams. Trabzon is one of Turkey’s most gorgeous towns, and it is also home to an authentic village known as Uzungol. Uzungöl village Turkey, which has the same name as the village, has an appealing lake with charming nature and is a unique and pure tourist destination.

The magnificent Black Sea region of Turkey’s lush mountains are a lovely spot to live in the midst of nature. At the same time, the Turkish village of Uzungol is known for its vast and picturesque lake surrounded by forested mountains.

Uzungol village Turkey is 90 kilometers from Trabzon, and the green lake and valley have become a popular tourist destination for those looking to get away from the city for a few days and immerse themselves in nature and countryside life.

6 Days Ayder Uzungol Trabzon Tour

Uzungöl Lake was formed when the surrounding mountains fell, turning the riverbed into a natural dam and creating a beautiful lake in the valley between them. The fog that normally blankets this location adds to its allure, giving it the appearance of a bit of paradise floating above the clouds.

Uzungöl translates to “Long Lake” and is probably one of Turkey’s most gorgeous lakes. The level of water in this lake changes depending on the season and amount of precipitation, yet it is beautiful all year. The neighboring mountains are uniformly white in the winter, creating fresh lake sceneries.

A mosque with Ottoman architecture stands next to the lake, adding to the beauty of the environment set against a backdrop of green mountains. One of the most attractive buildings around the lake is this white mosque, which has two tall minarets and a gorgeous dome.

There is a wonderful stroll way around the lake where you may walk and enjoy the sights, however it becomes very crowded, especially on weekends. Many merchants selling chestnuts on their wheels can be seen walking along the lake.

Eating roasted chestnuts in this exciting and touristic neighborhood is sure to be a pleasant experience that will leave a lasting impression the Uzungol village Turkey. You can take a break and relax on the seats and pavilions around the lake, taking in the tranquility of the natural surroundings. Local fish dinners as well as Turkish delights are available in restaurants throughout the area.

Before diving into the charming details of the Blue Cruise tour – a tour starting fro Fethiye to Olympos, let’s spotlight a few key insights about the both regions.

Fethiye Turkey

Fethiye was previously Telmessos, a confederation of independent city-states in ancient Lycia. The Lycians were noted for their unusual burial customs, and they have left behind 2,500-year-old sarcophagi in Fethiye’s streets, as well as magnificent rock tombs outside the town. Fethiye is now a popular tourist destination and a gateway to the isolated ruins of ancient Lycian cities, the 18-kilometer Saklkent Canyon, and Lüdeniz’s spectacular beach and lagoon. However, the resort itself has a lot to offer, from its traditional weekly market to its first-rate museum and the cool, shaded alleys of its old town.

Olympos Turkey

It’s undoubtedly one of the first stops for young Turkish tourists wishing to sever their ties. You may get a taste of the flame of endless youth (on top of the eternal flame of the Chimera) at this boho Antalya crossroads, with its hippy vibe, tree house lodgings, and beaches amid ancient ruins. It is a bohemian refuge full of tree house bungalows and Lycian ruins nestled among the natural backdrop of Antalya province’s Mediterranean coast.

Blue Cruise Turkey (Fethiye to Olympos)

The Blue Cruise to Olympos, which departs from Fethiye, is the most popular. This cruise, which lasts 4 days and 3 nights, is the highlight of most people’s trip to Turkey. No one will be disappointed by the voyage, whether it is the old ruins or the stunning turquoise waters for swimming and snorkeling.

4 Day 3 Night Blue Cruise Turkey Tours Fethiye to Olympos

Day 1

At 10 a.m., you will be picked up from your Fethiye hotel and driven to Fethiye harbor, where your cruise will begin. The boat will arrive in Samanlik Bay around 12 p.m. for swimming and lunch. Depending on the sea conditions, you may have lunch at Butterfly Valley. You can swim or visit the nature center while you’re here. If the season is good, you can observe 136 different types of butterflies and moths. After that, you’ll take a boat to Oludeniz (The Blue Lagoon), where you can go paragliding. The last stop of the day will be on St.Nicholas Island. You’ll have lots of opportunities to swim during the numerous pauses.

Day 2

You will be in Frnaz Bay when you wake up. Before the boat leaves for Kas, you will have free time to swim after breakfast. You’ll have lunch in Kas harbor and tour the lovely fishing community. Only Lycian rock tombs, sarcophagi, and the Roman theater remain of the ancient city Antiphellos, as Kas was formerly known; yet, the town’s beauty survives! You’ll stop in a bay near Kekova for swimming and dinner after leaving Kas.

Day 3

On the 3rd day of the blue cruise, the boat will leave early in the morning towards the Sunken City of Kekova. The only way to see this Lycian-Roman archaeological site is from above the river because it is protected. You will eat lunch after viewing the site. From there, you’ll travel to Simena, a historic Turkish fishing village that isn’t accessible by automobile. A Byzantine and Ottoman castle once stood here. Optional water sports are offered in Gokkaya Bay. Dinner and leisure at the pirates’ haven, or a night of partying in the Smugglers’ Inn.

Day 4

After breakfast of the last day of the blue cruise, we’ll take a peek at the Pirates Cave (if the weather permits) before sailing to Andriace. A bus will take you to Myra’s archeological site and to Demre’s St. Nicholas Church from there. When your organization requests it, shopping and banking are also available. The blue Cruise program comes to a close here. You will be transferred back to Olympos Tree Houses or left off at the bus terminal, depending on your schedule.

Turkey is situated at the confluence of Asia, Africa, and Europe, a junction where East meets West. Anatolia’s mainland has been favored throughout history due to its physical location, and it has given rise to numerous great civilizations. Due to its geographical connections to three continents and the sea on three sides, it has also been a significant commercial center. Turkey has a rich culture that has lasted through the centuries and has left an indelible mark on modern civilization. Blue cruise Turkey has become a popular tourist destination in recent years.

Cruise Areas in Turkey

Cleopatra Island

Beginning with the ancient town of Halicarnassus, which is now Bodrum, the shoreline provides a variety of coves and historical attractions such as Cleopatra Island, English Harbour, and the Dorian city of Knidos (for which Praxiteles created his masterpiece, the Aphrodite statue). Many yachtsmen, enthralled by the soft, consistent meltemi breeze, continue south to Marmaris, the so-called “pearl” of the Turkish coast.

Bosphorus Boat Cruise Tour – Dolmabahce Palace

Gulf of Fethiye

The beautiful coastline continues south till it reaches the Gulf of Fethiye. The magnificent Kaunos City and the turtle beach of Dalyan are located halfway between Fethiye and Marmaris. Once on the Gulf of Fethiye, you will find a private hideaway in one of the many bays, much as Cleopatra and Antonious did. On your southeastward journey, the lovely cities of Göcek and Fethiye, as well as the famous tomb of Amyntas, serve as signs of things to come. The areas are encompassed in the best blue cruise Turkey.

Gemiler Island

While traveling from Fethiye to the well-known Dead Sea (lü Deniz), you’ll pass across a historic Lycian harbour and Byzantine settlement named Gemiler Island, as well as the old Greek ghost town of Kayaköy. From there, the traditional coastal towns of Kalkan and Kaş will provide numerous historical and natural gems. Letoon, Xanthos, Pnara, and Patara are some of the other ancient Lycian cities. On your trip from Kaş to Finike, Turkey’s biggest citrus producer, you’ll pass via Kekova, another major Lycian area.
