Municipality of Pamukkale Seyir Tepesi City Forest, which Pamukkale Municipality introduced to Denizli, has become a popular spot for locals seeking relief from the heat with its cool air.

The citizens of Denizli, who are overwhelmed by the intense heat, and the visitors to the city take a breath in the Pamukkale Municipality Seyir Tepesi City Forest to relax and cool off because the air temperatures across the nation are higher than the seasonal averages. Seyir Tepesi, which the Pamukkale Municipality revived, has emerged as a brand-new tourist hotspot.

It has established itself as a favourite spot for locals in Denizli as well as domestic and international visitors to the city because to its expansive atmosphere and city perspective. Seyir Tepesi, home to cruising swings, zipline towers, mountain sledding, adventure trails, play groups themed after cartoon characters, elale Park, Turan Road, Silent Garden, cafes, camping and picnic areas, and Seyr-et Restaurant, has become a favourite among those seeking a cool alternative to the sea, sand, and sun trio.

7 Days Turkey Tour Package – Western Turkey Tour

Seyir Tepesi is Turkey’s largest thematic urban forest, according to Pamukkale Mayor Avni rki, who also said that Pamukkale is one of the most significant tourist destinations in the world. As the Pamukkale Municipality, we are developing brand-new initiatives to promote Pamukkale not only for its white water or red water, but also for a variety of other options, and we are taking all necessary steps to reach every demographic.

One of these initiatives is Seyir Tepesi. Tens of thousands of domestic and international visitors still favour Kocaçukur and Pamukkale Municipality Seyir Tepesi City Forest, Turkey’s largest themed urban forest, over travertines. Along with offering a beautiful view, Seyir Tepe also invites visitors of all ages with its zipline, mountain sledge, adventure track and playgrounds for kids. We can have our tea in our cafeterias while admiring Denizli’s gorgeous scenery, and we can dine in Seyr-Et restaurant’s magnificent cuisine.

Bodrum is well-known for its festivals that cover a wide range of topics all year long in addition to its beaches and fun way of life. Although they are not well publicised, these festivals provide colour to Bodrum and draw tourists as well as residents. We expect that stronger promotion would be given to these festivals, which are significant and prosperous organisations in their respective professions. After reading this post, you might decide to reevaluate your travel itinerary and change it to coincide with these Bodrum festivals.

Bodrum Music Festival

It was originally known as the D-Marin Classical Music Festival and changed its name to the Bodrum Music Festival last year. This year will mark the 15th anniversary of the festival. Although the start and conclusion dates vary from year to year, the festival always takes place in August. Additionally, the festival schedule can span 4-5 or 8 days. The schedule of the Bodrum Classical Music Festival comprises concerts in the morning, at sunset, in the evening, and at night. The Presidential Symphony Orchestra, Lauren Fagan-Murat Karahan, Dorukhan Doruk-Gülru Ensari, and Fazl Say were among the performers at the event in the past.

Gumusluk International Classical Music Festival

The Gumusluk International Classical Music Festival, one of the most well-known events in Bodrum, has been taking place in one of the most popular villages in Bodrum since 2004. It is regarded as one of the most significant festivals in its field today. World-famous performers perform at this event for a lengthy period of 1.5–2.5 months, with the themes of Suda (on water), Tasta (on stone), and Kumda (on sand). In order to accommodate the demand in succeeding years, the event, which was first hosted in Gumusluk’s historical church Eklisia, was transferred to the town’s historic quarry.

Chill-Out Festival

The Bodrum leg of the Chill-Out Festival, which takes place annually in three different cities, will take place this year on July 20 and 21 at Xuma Beach in Yalikavak. Last year, celebrities like Chaim, Eli Light, Mimi Love, and Luca Musto attended the festival. The Chill-Out Festival, one of the best Bodrum festivals, draws many visitors from Turkey and other countries by “bringing the exquisite world of Lounge Fm with real life.” The Chill-Out Festival is a fun summer event since one may swim, relax in the sun, and take in some wonderful music.

5 Days Honeymoon Package – Istanbul Cappadocia Tour

Karsanat Baroque Music Festival

The Karsanat Baroque Music Festival, which is free and takes place in September at the Bodrum Antique Theater, is put on by the Karya Culture and Arts Association with the purpose of introducing and promoting baroque music to a larger audience. Baroque music enthusiasts shouldn’t miss the festival, which has recently included the Karya Baroque Ensemble, coloratura-mezzosoprano Esen Demirci, and countertenor Kaan Buldular. The festival is considered among the top Bodrum festivals in Turkey.

This year, you have the option of taking nine days off, with only two days off for the Eid al-Fitr vacation. This year’s Eid al-Fitr holiday will be 5-days long when combined with the weekend. Those who can incorporate the Thursdays and Fridays immediately following the vacation can take advantage of a total of 9 days off. Here are the most entertaining routes for people who wish to make the most of their Eid Holidays! As the holiday season neared, people began to make trip plans. The holiday is five days this year because it falls on the holiday weekend. Those who can take two days off after the Eid holidays, however, can lengthen their vacation to nine days.

In the summer, millions of people travel to Marmaris, making it a great destination for a 9-day vacation – Eid holidays. Thousands of historical sites and a distinct natural environment await visitors in Marmaris, which has been home to different civilizations since ancient times. You may visit Icmeler, Turunç, Selimiye, Bördübet, and Hisaronu, as well as the famed holiday routes of Icmeler, Turunç, Selimiye, Bördübet, and Hisaronu. You can also go to the sea for the first time this year and visit Marmaris Castle and Archaeological Museum in the city centre.

Bozcaada

Bozcaada, Canakkale’s charming island, is recognised for its serenity and tranquilly. In the spring and autumn, the island, which is popular with tourists in the summer, takes on an entirely new appearance. One of the best paths for a bozcaada holiday is to visit Bozcaada Castle, Bozcaada Museum, Polente Lighthouse with its distinctive sunset vista, and fish restaurants.

Cyprus

Cyprus, which can only be visited with a T.C. ID Card, remains a popular due to its vibrant nightlife, large stretches of sandy coastline, delectable cuisine, and historical and natural wonders. In Cyprus, where the summer season begins early and ends late, you may go to the beach in May and get lots of sun. Cypriot meatballs, piruhi, seafood, hellim, and peach kebab are among the must-try dishes in Cyprus, which is a perfect route to evaluate the 9-day vacation – Eid Holidays.

On special occasions, locals prefer bungalows in Sakarya’s Sapanca neighborhood, which has become a tourist draw due to its lake and natural beauty. While the houses reserved prior to Ramadan are nearly full, they provide hotel-like comfort to citizens in the countryside.

Sapanca, which attracts domestic and international visitors all year round with its distinctive beauty, is one of the most popular destinations due to its proximity to Istanbul. Among its recent attractiveness with Arab tourists, Sapanca, which welcomes many local and foreign holidaymakers every year due to its proximity to metropolitan centers such as Istanbul and Ankara, remains one of the most popular holiday locations.

Citizens choose bungalows in the district, which has the feel of a vacation destination. The occupancy rate of wooden bungalow houses in the district, which is a tourist draw because of its greenery, environment, and lake, is notable. Houses, which are popular for special occasions, are often reserved days or even weeks in advance. The operators’ phones do not stop ringing in households that are approaching occupancy before Ramadan.

4 Days Turkey Tour – Cappadocia Ephesus Pamukkale Tour

The head of Sapanca Villa and Bungalow Operators Association, Ali Safa Alaçam, noted:

It is almost impossible to find empty space in houses before Ramadan. There are a few houses left for the holidays. During the pandemic process, the return to nature began and people adopted the return to this nature, now the concepts of holiday have changed. They prefer the concept of holidays in isolated, isolated environments. Together with our business friends, we try to free every guest in the private area and provide good service. Sapanca’s location is also in a very good place.

There are metropolitan areas around us such as Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa Kocaeli, so we appeal to an audience of 20-25 million people. This number increases many times in the summer periods with the participation of national and international tourists. They adopted Sapanca. We can say that we are now one of the leading holiday destinations in Turkey.

Turkey may not strike you as a classic Christmas destination. However, the pleasant weather and distinctive celebration styles will give you even more reasons to spend Christmas in Turkey this year! As winter approaches, we know that the most eagerly anticipated festival is approaching. And, from welcoming Santa Claus to celebrating the start of a new joyful year, this festive season will endure a long time. And, if you want to avoid the snow and cold, there’s no better way to do so than by celebrating Christmas in Turkey.

Christmas in Turkey 2021

On the 25th of December 2020, Friday will be the day of Christmas, when the entire globe will celebrate the most anticipated festival of the year. For Turks, it’s just another day at work, but for foreigners, it’s a great stress reliever and festival finder. When you consider Turkish Christmas traditions, it almost seems impossible to celebrate this occasion, right? We have the misconception that Turkey is a Muslim country that does not celebrate Christmas.

Although it is a Muslim country, celebrating Christmas is not impossible or unusual. Turks have perfected the skill of making money, and they have been gaining popularity among foreigners since 2004. And Christmas is a great time to give restaurant owners and bartenders a chance to make some money.

Top-Rated Places to Celebrate Christmas in Turkey

Turkey’s Christmas celebrations are more akin to a ‘Do it Yourself Christmas.’ Although you may not find a large crowd attending to Christmas celebrations, you will find people catering to you as a business owner. Turkey is one of the greatest places to go if you want to experience a lighter and merrier Christmas this year in Turkish manner. Here are the most popular places to celebrate Christmas in Turkey.

The old city of Ephesus has been wonderfully preserved, and visiting during the winter allows you to view the ruins without having to rush. This city was once the epicentre of trade and religion, and it still exudes opulence with its numerous temples, homes, and basilicas. Ephesus, curiously, was one of the seven Asian churches named in the Book of Revelations.

It is regarded as one of the world’s most prized views. The hot pools are built organically in the shape of terraces. If you plan on taking a swim in the pool, make sure you have some additional clothing with you.

2 Days Ephesus Pamukkale Tour From Istanbul

Cappadocia is one of Turkey’s most fascinating destinations for Christmas day activities. A visitor is treated to an eerie panorama of weird stacked rock formations encircled by rainbow fairy chimneys. The area also contains numerous subterranean caverns that were once home to ancient humans, providing insight into living in this difficult environment. Take a hot-air balloon ride in Cappadocia for some of Turkey’s most beautiful aerial views.

4 Days Turkey Tour – Cappadocia Nemrut Gobeklitepe SanlıUrfa

Gallipoli

In the year 2021, Anzac Day will be commemorated for the 104th time. Gallipoli is a place with a major chunk of heroic history between the Australians and New Zealanders, making it one of the greatest Christmas day activities in Turkey. This location serves as a reminder of troops’ gallantry as well as the huge loss of life. Christmas is a fantastic time to visit this memorial and pay respect to the lost souls because there will be less people and more space to concentrate. You would love the serene sight of clear blue waters and white settlements lining the shore.

The annual Camel Wrestling Festival in Selcuk, Turkey, takes place in January every year. Two (male) bulls are gathered together in the neighbourhood with a female camel. The camels are fighting over the woman, straining on each other to drive the other down. Camel wrestling is a sport that two male tülu camels fight for the heat of a female camel. In Turkey’s Egean, it is most prevalent, but also in the Mediterranean and Marmara regions. In Turkey, there are approximately 1200 camel wrestlers (or Tulus), raised especially for the contests.

History

Camel fight began around 2,400 years ago amongst ancient Turkish tribes. Camels wrestle also in the wild, therefore the practise was place in the beginning before the nomads structured it. In the 1850s, the fame of Camel Wrestling in Turkey inspired an American military officer and built up a Camel Wrestling tower in Texas. But partly because of the beginning of the American Civil War in 1861 it was ineffective.

In the 1920s, Camel fought for the Government of Turkey to buy aviations from the Turkish National Aviation League as fundraisers. However, in the 1920s, the Turkish Government began to deter practise, which it described as excessively antiquated. In the 1980s, the new Turkish government initiated competitions in the historical Turkish culture. Camel wrestling was also popular at the show Lahore Horse & Cattle, but was dropped from the programme, since it was considered to be too ferocious for the Queen during her visit to Queen Elizabeth 2 in 1961.

2 Days Cappadocia Tour From Istanbul

Camel Wrestling Festival

Camel wrestling competitions are purely Turkish, with Spanish and Italian cockfights on a level with. Although guardians of animal rights are against such competitions, they are not violent and are known as natural impulses. During the match season, the contests are held in the wintertime. In the middle of the rink a couple of bulls are placed and there is a beautiful cow in front of them. When a woman is watching, her mouth and nose are evident immediately from her white, viscous saliva. Suddenly angry men are turned into pure rivals.

In the camel wrestling festival, the combat usually continue a few minutes, until the stronger the weaker wrestles down to the ground or when the latter cries or simply laps away into the throng. In the event that something goes wrong and both camels are too strong to give in, a number of helpers always look at them in the immediate vicinity ready for separation. It makes sure that the animals are safe and healthy.

4 Days Turkey Tour – Cappadocia Ephesus Pamukkale Tour

How to Get there and When?

Camel wrestling festival takes place in the Pamucak Beach near Ephesus / Selçuk.. You may grab a minibus or a taxi to the area of Wrestling, about 7 kilometres from the settlement of Selcuk. Thousands of spectators have been attracted annually by camel wrestling championships. Usually the festival promotes the 120 camel wrestling, but only 96 were present in 2001. The annual Camel Wrestling Festival in Selcuk, Turkey, takes place in January every year.

Cengiz Topal, director of the Archaeology Museum in Ephesus, told Anadolu Agency that the antique edifice belongs among the biggest outdoor theatres of Turkey in central Anatolia. Topal said that the old building would be open after a succession of restorations, with the priority of safeguarding visitors and artists. Topal said.

Every year on August 30th, Turkey celebrates Victory Day, which is a national holiday. The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus observes it as well. Turkey Victory Day is a national holiday and a public holiday. For the general public, it is a day off. Most businesses, including schools, banks, council offices, and the Turkish stock exchange, are suspended.

History

The origins of this wonderful holiday can be traced back to World War I. Following its devastating defeat in World War I, the Osman Empire was captured by allied soldiers. Parts of the country’s territory were partitioned and controlled by armed forces from Greece, Armenia, France, the United Kingdom, and Italy.

As a result, you can guess that the Turkish people were not pleased. The Turkish army forces were led by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk when the War of Independence started out in 1919. The victory at the Battle of Dumlupnar in 1922 was a turning point in the war, and August 30th became a significant date for Turkey as we know it today.

On October 29th, 1923, in the brand new capital of a new country, Ankara, the Turkish Republic was unveiled to the world. And guess who was elected as the country’s first president? Atatürk, the General. For the very first time, on August 30th, 1923, the Turkish people commemorated Victory Day. The magnificent event was declared a national holiday in 1935.

Turkey Victory Day Ceremonies

In Turkey, military parades and festivities at monuments to Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, are popular methods to commemorate Victory Day. On this significant day, Turkish flags and portraits of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk adorn shops, public buildings, and people’s homes.

Victory Day is a national holiday in Turkey and the northern half of Cyprus. It is a commemoration of the Turkish military and republic. The major event takes place in Ankara at Atatürk’s Mausoleum. All military upgrades are made on this day, and marches are performed in major cities around the country, according to a ritual held at the War Academy in Istanbul.

What is Mesir Paste?

Mesir is a traditional Turkish dessert with medicinal properties. Manisa Mesir Macunu was first made as a medicine during the Ottoman Empire, but it later became a popular feature of Manisa’s local festivities. Earlier versions of Mesir paste had a peppery flavour rather than being sweet.

Manisa Mesir Macunu Festival

One of Turkey’s oldest events is the Mesir Festival. The festival will be held in Manisa for the 471st time in March 2011. Every year, residents of Manisa and the surrounding communities congregate around the Sultan Mosque to catch Mesir paste of Manisa thrown from the mosque’s domes and minarets by men dressed in traditional garb. A lavish, much-anticipated parade also takes place around the mosque, with the president, prime minister, numerous ministers and members of parliament, officials from NGOs, and notable inhabitants of Manisa in attendance.

2 Days Ephesus Pamukkale Tour From Istanbul

Mesir Paste, which is made from a particular recipe of a paste containing 41 different herbs and spices, is dispersed in the hopes of ensuring everyone’s well-being throughout the annual Nevruz week.

Mesir Paste Festival encompasses a variety of cultural and traditional traditions and is held during the week of Nevruz, which is considered the start of spring. The festival draws people from all around Turkey together, contributing significantly to societal harmony and cooperation. They make preparations for both foreign and domestic visitors to the event in Manisa, and they make it a point to offer some of the mesir paste to international visitors and nearby cities.

Manisa Mesir Festival Ceremonies

Every year, Manisa Mesir Macunu Festival begins with prayers over the shaking and cooking of the mesir paste. During the event, at least three tonnes of mesir paste is made for hurling and distributing out.

At least 14 ladies must be characterized by cleanliness, skill, experience, and patience as they wrap the mesir paste in small pieces of shining, colourful paper. Before being thrown to the public from the minaret and dome of Sultan Mosque, the paste is mixed and cooked with prayers and wishes for a rapid recovery. Hundreds of thousands of people from all across Turkey strive to catch a piece of the paste before it falls to the ground.

The Manisa Mesir Macunu Festival schedule comprises events such as the traditional mesir cortege, a cookery contest, public concerts, children’s enjoyment, theatre, and folk dance performances, in addition to the mesir stirring and distribution festivities.

5 Days Turkey Tour – Istanbul Cappadocia Tour

Akbank Jazz Festival, which has been supporting the development of Turkish jazz for the past 30 years, has created an archival job to track and memorialize the current state of Turkish jazz without ever decelerating in this period of global pandemic, when all dynamics have shifted, concerts have been forced to cancel, and events have been delayed. Triggering a retrospective project depicting the last 30 years with its worthwhile contents of special records, interviews, and documentary shots, Akbank Jazz Festival thus encourages and supports creativity given the difficulty imposed by the pandemic, with the goal of leaving an influential, meaningful, and lasting work as a legacy to the world of Turkish Jazz.

The Festival has evolved into a versatile organization by embracing panels, workshops, film screening sessions, concerts, and social responsibility projects, not only hosting influential jazz figures from around the world but also paving the way for emerging and promising next-gen artists.

With the beginning of Jazz on Campus concerts in 2006, Akbank Jazz Festival expanded to other regions in Turkey besides Istanbul, presenting a variety of variations each year. This concert series took place in places such as Ankara, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Zmir, Trabzon, Adana, Erzurum, Kayseri, Kars, and others.

In 2010, the Festival observed its 20th anniversary, which was commemorated by a compilation album, which served as a visual representation of the festival’s history, as well as a historical documentary and book. The Golden Compass Awards, held by Turkey Public Relations Association (TÜHD), gave the 20th edition of Akbank Jazz Festival the category prize of “Corporate Social Responsibility – Culture and Art” in 2011. The festival, which marked its 25th year in 2015, collected a remarkable collection of current Turkish jazz on two CDs.

The Festival marked its 30th anniversary – 30th Akbank Jazz Festival – in 2020 with a special project that honours the festival’s mission. During the pandemic, when all dynamics changed, performances were cancelled, and events were rescheduled, it did not slow down and completed an archiving project by recording a recording that portrays the current state of Turkish Jazz. With its special recordings, interviews, and documentary shootings, the festival began a retrospective work that took an x-ray of 30 years, thus supporting creativity despite all the constraints of the pandemic period and aiming to leave an effective, meaningful, and permanent work to the Turkish jazz world.

In addition, in 2020, the Akbank Jazz Festival hosted five “Year Long Concerts” to commemorate its 30th anniversary, as well as sixteen “Jazz State of Home Concerts,” which streamed live on Instagram during the pandemic.

The beginning point for the Turkey industry around the world, and a wonderful introduction point for national and worldwide culinary brands. Istanbul Cuisine Days provides an opportunity for businesses to identify themselves and raise brand awareness by focusing on specific areas of the festival. In terms of their own promotions, the brands that have participated in the Istanbul Kitchen Days in previous years have acquired a lot of popularity. The organization, which will be hosted in 2021 from a larger geographic area than in past years, will present a variety of promotional opportunities in this 18th International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival 2021.
